2 Years

27.7.14

Okay, I’ll admit – this was an impromptu post, but it had to be done.

Two weeks ago today (13th July) Kev and I celebrated our two year anniversary.

Originally I was going to post about our day, and what we got up to, but I felt discouraged by the photographs so… I didn’t. But I really wanted to share with you about Kev’s and I celebration of our two years because it means that much to me.

Two years, in comparison to twenty years, is almost nothing but for Kev and I it’s an immense triumph.
We’ve been through a lot together. Good and bad. But not for one moment have I thought to myself “what am I doing with this guy?”

As you may already know from previous posts, Kev is my best friend, my boyfriend, my everything. And ultimately I enjoy his company. And he deserves this recognition. Even if I do post about him a little bit too much, I’m forgiven, right?

So, let’s raise our glasses and say cheers to a big two years for our never-ending, unconditional love.

To end this post, I will leave you with five things I appreciate and love about my best friend.

+ his smile
+ his laugh
+ his sense of humor
+ the way he comforts me when I’m having a terrible day
+ his support

p.s These photos were shot today, and both Kev and I were spending a lot of time with Bella, so excuse her cheeky little self.

Bella

15.7.14

Welcome to the family, Bella.

Bella is the newest addition to our family – Mum has continuously asked my dad for another fury friend to live in our household. When he finally caved in I didn’t protest against the idea.

In a nutshell, that is how Bella came about.

Her name, however, was my doing. I named our Shih Tzu that we have had for quite some time now Holly, and I named Bella, Bella.

There were other names before Bella of course. There was Maisy, Daisy, Poppy and primarily Bella. I fell in love with Bella because as soon as I laid eyes on her I immediately thought she was beautiful. And we all know that Bella is Beautiful in Italian. Hence the name Bella!

Though we’ve only had her for a day, I already count her as family, and love her dearly. She’s supplies a lot of laughs and cuddles – which is perfect considering it is winter.

There’s nothing better than cuddles from your favourite pet in winter.
