Port Melbourne

13.6.14

Today was a good day.

Despite it being winter, it was surprisingly warm and the sun managed to stay exposed which made the day pleasant to embark on an adventure and get creative.

I am really proud of how much I am improving in terms of my photography. I have been studying a lot about ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed. It’s safe to say I have a fair idea of what I am doing now, rather than being completely oblivious.

And may I just add how much I have been loving shots by the coast lately? The juxtaposition between the subject and colour of the ocean is to die for.

  1. You're right, the juxtaposition in those first couple of photos is simply stunning! I know exactly what you mean with the sun being surprisingly present in winter; it's indeed pleasant, especially on such golden days like your own.

  6. Love your blog! Love the last two photos lined up like you have them. I've been trying to read up on ISO and other workings of my T3i, but I haven't gotten much of a chance to practice yet.

    1. Thank you!

Ireland is a place I dream of going to one day, and to be honest, it would be even special if I was proposed to in Ireland. How romantic! I think it's a beautiful place from what I've seen through pictures, and my boyfriend has been there before too and he told me I would love it there.

Let's trade places for a week! haha.

I always find it interesting seeing and hearing about Australian winter because it is such a contrast to here in Britain!
