Magnum, H&M

10.8.14

Last week was a good week. A real good week.

My car registration was finally paid off, and I finally saved up enough money to buy myself a little gift – I’ll keep this a secret until my next post ;)

After so, so many months of saving – thanks to my low income – I felt a sense of freedom and satisfaction overcome me, as I was able to treat myself to a day out where I could actually spend money of my own.

So, Kev and I ventured our way into the City.

We have wanted to try the new Magnum Pleasure Pop-Up Store in Melbourne since it came out on the 1st of July, this year, but we never had time to actually stand in line for our own customize Magnum ice-cream, so we gave it a miss until yesterday.

I can’t even begin to express to you how amazing it was. It was worth the wait.
Unfortunately, today is it’s last day of being in Melbourne.

Spontaneously, after passing H&M, I eagerly dragged Kev in. Desperate to go in because I had not yet been in – ludicrous, I know. I couldn’t help that the line was ridiculously long for a long period of time. I mean, it is the first H&M store in Australia after all.

I could hardly contain my excitement.

The layout was beyond beautiful, and the items were pretty sweet just as well.

I treated myself to a long jumper-dress. It’s warm and terribly cute on – the jumper was $19.95.

I also bought two basic t-shirts, which I thought could be nicely dressed with leggings. They were both only $9.95 each.

It was a lot more inexpensive than what I thought it was going to be.

  4. H&M is actually really reasonably priced, especially considering how good quality the things I've bought from there are. My friend and I hyped ourselves up to go there and then we were kind of just overwhelmed by how big it was haha.

Aww I'm kind of sad I never did the make your own magnum thing, I love your photo!
I hope everything is sailing along smoothly for you. We must catch up properly on everything soon! It's one of those busy times of the year again :)
