  1. I would love to hear more about your story Jes. Honestly I don't know much about anxiety even though I know a lot of my friends have struggled with it, particularly in the last few years and my mum has as well as a result of my father's death.

I only found out basically one week ago that I have social anxiety. I've been reading up on it and have never related to anything more - the first instance of it I remember was when I was five years old so it isn't something I developed, it's been ingrained in me my whole life. Social anxiety for me is constant, there's never a moment I feel completely comfortable in the presence of other people (except my brother). Anxiety is awful and it makes me so upset that such a large percentage of the population struggle with it though it's hardly talked about.

  2. I love how someone else's words of simplicity can calm the noise in your head sometimes and give the perspective you need.

I love you Jes. I honestly feel so lucky right now to know you.
What else can I say? I think you're grand :)

  3. These words came at just the right time. Things haven't been great recently, and this is a good reminder that nothing is more important than my health and sanity. :)
As Meg said on a previous post I think, your blog is so refreshingly real, and so wonderful. I would love to hear more of your story, somehow every story makes everything a little easier. <3

  5. Girl, you are a fighter and I love that about you. Anxiety is something I still can't come to terms with in my body. It's an unnatural thing that clings onto me and just when I think I've defeated it, it comes back. I love your strength and I love that there are people I know that are going through similar battles. Together we can get through this <3

  7. I'd be pleased to hear your story, especially if you feel it's right to speak up. :) To come forth and address something so personal is a brave act not to be undermined.
