Today’s Inspired post
is going to be a little bit different.
Rather than having four inspiration photographs, and I talk
about them, I am going to base this post on one inspiration and motivator that
has been sitting heavy on my shoulders.
As some of you may know, before I gave my blog a complete
makeover, I published a post based upon my need and want to be a healthier and
fitter person. Well, can I just say, that didn’t work out as well as I thought it
would have. The very next day, I was snacking out on sugars and carbohydrates once
again and I felt discouraged with myself, but of course, I didn’t do anything
about it.
However, late night sometime at the end of last week, I was
lying in my bed and told myself I need to change. I need to. And the next day, to my absolute surprise, I did.
I have been eating well, exercising almost every day and
drinking a ton more water than what I would have. Heck, I even made effort to
go to the gym yesterday!
I feel great. I feel happier, I feel healthier.
If you ever feel like you can’t do it, trust me, you can. Persistence
is key. Every month, every year, I would try to get my mindset into a healthier
and fitter state of mind, and it was only last week I finally stuck to my guns.
So, if you ever feel like giving up, it’s okay. Just try again harder next
time. You’ll get there.
And lastly, I really think you should go over to Meg’s blog
and check out her post she recently published. It moved me, and I am so happy
to come across this post which gave me that extra push to love myself for who I
am. Seriously, go check it out. I urge you to.
Aww I just saw this now Jes!
